Pam Cowan

The matriarch of Cowan & Co Merchants is Pam Cowan. Pam has committed her working career to the Gift, Housewares & Tableware Industry and maintains a classic understanding of the complex retail landscape within Canada, working with major retailers and interior designers. She has worked with home décor brands that are both domestic and European.  She has managed the Canadian sales departments of prestigious European tableware, porcelain and crystal manufacturers. Her expertise covers brand marketing, sales development, international import, product management and the entire customer experience. Her focus is helping her retail customers serve their clients by sourcing the most attractive product offerings in today’s market with the same passion that has been a hallmark of her career. Her number one goal is the success of ‘her’ retailers.

Jennifer Cowan-Savio

Jennifer Cowan-Savio brings 25 years of unique skills and experiences to Cowan & Co Merchants. Jennifer is a Red Seal Certified Chef having worked in fine dining establishments in Canada, Italy and London, UK. She has managed the ‘front of the house’, recruiting, training and social media marketing for a luxury fine dining group of 10 restaurants in London, UK. On her return to Canada, she took her skills to the gourmet grocery sector where she was responsible for recruiting, training, product selection and presentation and the guest shopping experience. She is adept at customer facing roles and has a talent for anticipating client needs and charting appropriate solutions to ensure repeat business. Jennifer is highly skilled at forecasting trends, developing product knowledge, brand positioning and content curation.
